The antis admit they are responsible for drafting the Democrat’s platform

The city has reached a tentative settlement with a Virginia gun shop - the last of the 27 dealers it sued for selling firearms to straw buyers. Bob Moates’ Sport Shop agreed to make changes in its sales practices but will not be subject to surveillance and monitoring by a special master like the other gun retailers that settled, city attorney Ari Biernoff said Thursday.

LaSalle County to vote on carrying guns
LaSalle County Board members voted unanimously Thursday to put a referendum on the Nov. 4 ballot asking voters if they support the right to carry concealed firearms.
The resolution was passed 25-0, with board Chairman Jerry Hicks abstaining. Robert Jakupcak, Ronald Dittmer and Thomas Ganiere were absent.

Sen. Lautenberg, if you and your gun grabbing friends want “open and honest” why don’t you start by being open and honest about your agenda to disarm law-abiding American citizens in order to establish the all-powerful socialist nanny state. If you want “open and honest” how about admitting that you and your allies are engaged in an incremental campaign make all firearms illegal. That would be a good start. Put your cards on the table and we’ll be happy to have an “open and honest” discussion with you and your fellow drones.

Constitutional civil rights to mean much if you can’t exercise them. NSSF is taking the lead on helping D.C. residents bring their Second Amendment rights from theory to reality. Hat tip to them!

As the District prepares to fight double-barreled attempts to loosen its gun-control laws, some of the city’s gun rights pioneers have done what folks in Washington do best — they have formed a lobbying group.

About a dozen residents have pledged their support to Capital Gun Owners, a new D.C.-based gun advocacy and education group headed by Northwest resident Amy McVey.
