Bill O’Reilly

I usually have his show turned on about 2-3 times a week - after I get home from work (bachelor’s often have the TV on as “background noise.”) My primary TV is in my office where my computer is - so I can work while having the TV on in the background.
Bill O’Reilly is a demagogue and supreme ruler on his TV set. He is always “right,” for no other reason than that is what he thinks. He will usually have some interesting subjects on, and I can stand him up to the point that he starts getting on his “high-horse” of overarching personal opinion based on what he “knows” to be right or wrong in the world.
He is also vocally anti-gun. Last night, one of his subjects was Snoop Dog, who had just been arrested for the third time for weapons possession, drugs, etc. One of O’Reilly’s throw-away statements during his tirade on this convicted felon thumbing his nose at our legal system was something like “…no one should be allowed to carry a gun - let alone a convicted felon.”
Like too many public personalities feeding off the spotlight of their personal success, he uses the First Amendment without even acknowledging the existence of the Second Amendment.
