Students Charged With Murder After Argument Over High School Football Teams
WETUMPKA, Ala. — Three Prattville High School students and a Montgomery teenager have been charged with murder in a fatal shooting that apparently occurred after an argument over whether Wetumpka or Prattville has a better high school football team.

Questions:
- Why did these adolescents have firearms?
- Why were they out at 4:30 AM arguing with anyone over anything?
- Why did they shoot at each other over an argument about who had the better football team?
- The “party” was held at the National Guard Armory in Wetumka. Where was the adult supervision? Where was law enforcement?
Inquiring minds want to know.
“What in the world are these children these days thinking about?” said Wanda Freeman, who lives in the Crenshaw community. “Why would you shoot somebody over something as silly as a football team? I just don’t understand it. Nobody around here does.”
Beyond the senseless destruction of young lives needlessly, this kind of wanton stupidity is posing an increasing threat to our gun rights. Every time one of these events happen, the gun abolitionists have more ammunition for their jihad.
Looks like it’s time to ban organized sports in school. For the children, of course.

Would be interesting to learn the racial make up of each school, in general, the combatants, in particular.
