Vodka-Drinking Father Accidently Shoots, Kills Daughter

MARYSVILLE, Wash. —  A father arrested after his 6-year-old daughter was shot to death in their Washington state home allegedly told police he had been drinking double shots of vodka while cleaning his guns.

Court papers say Richard Peters told detectives he had asked his daughter, Stormy, to bring him the .45-caliber handgun Sunday. He said he must have pulled the trigger, and the girl fell to the floor. She was pronounced dead Monday.

Bail for Richard Peters, 42, was set Monday at $250,000. He has been arrested for investigation of first-degree manslaughter…

There is no freedom without responsibility. When we exercise the freedom to own a gun, we take on the responsibility to keep those around us safe. Freedom without responsibility is chaos and slavery, but Mr. Peters will find out about that soon enough. When we are unwilling to shoulder our responsibilities, we lose our freedoms.

No sympathy, no mercy, no excuses – this guy must pay.

I have a rather angry post up on this too, the guy needs his nuts and nipples hooks to a Sears Battery Charger… I have one…

This is NOT a 2nd amendment issue in MY opinion, this is a case that graphically illustrates that some people are too damned stupid to live, some people would die if breathing were not a reflex action, and this *father* is one of those individuals!

The *father* of this little girl was STUPID, and as Ron White is so fond of saying, you can’t FIX stupid!

Sure, you can fix stoopid. It just takes a ball peen hammper and a blowtorch. Of course, the end result never favors the recipient of said tools in the long run.

I say let the man live his life in a room full of her photos and some toys. Pipe in her voice and laughter at odd hours. Preferably when he’s just drifting off to sleep.

Let the happy images of his daughter haunt the rest of his days.
