I ponder what the cost of one of these M1 Carbines would be. Say under or right at $300.00. Or would there be a rating system by year production, manufacture, and style.

I’ve been associated with the CMP for almost 10 years. I missed out on the Club Carbines from a few years ago, and I’m glad to see that the M1 Carbine will now be available. Price, last time was $350 and they only had some 3,000 available then. Most were still fresh from rebuild or like new condition. Orest Michaels from the CMP, IIRC claims ‘five digit’ quantities, so thats at least is 10,000. Other rumor sites claim 32,000 and these were returns from guns on loan to Italy.

I’m saving my pennies, and I hope these will be in the $300-$400 range, and broken down to sell by manufacturer and grades.
