Thankful
I’m thankful for my family, my friends, my dogs — they keep me alive.
I’m thankful for my freedom — the freedom to worship as I see fit, to think and say what I want, the freedom to live my life the way I want to, the freedom to be secure in my person and property, the freedom to pack my guns and to vote.
I’m thankful that I live in what is still the greatest experiment in liberty in the history of human politics — things don’t always go the way I think they should, but that’s part of the adventure. The great contest of freedom is alive and well.
I’m thankful that God doesn’t squash me like a bug even though I richly deserve it at times.
