I carry the S&W 640-3,loaded with 158gr EJHP. Alot of folks tell me that I’m packin’ too much power for just self defence;but it suits me just fine.In fact, when people see me shootin’ 5 for 5 bullys’ at more then 30ft they can’t believe their eyes. The muzzle flash and the noise are quite impressive, and folks wonder how I maintain control with such hot loads;simple truth is:I have no choice.
In an attack I must take out the threat as fast as possable, and I may only get one shot. That means I must have the magnum power, the nastyest round and most important;the urge to kill. Any scum who crosses me don’t get a second chance at life, they pay the dearest cost. That may sound “cold’ to some, but if I don’t put them down for good;they might prey on someone who can’t defend themselves, and I won’t live with that on my head.
So in closing, the S&W 640 .357magnum will meet all your needs and more,it’ll save your life,no doubt about it…
